Where Saudi Dermatology Meets the World

ABOUT SSDDS & ISD

The story behind the most significant partnership in regional dermatology history.

Two Societies. One Vision

THE PARTNERSHIP

The Saudi Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and the International Society of Dermatology share more than a scientific agenda — they share a belief that the advancement of dermatology is best achieved through collaboration, across borders, specialties, and generations.

The decision to jointly host the 17th SSDDS Conference and the 8th CCD Congress was not made lightly. It reflects years of dialogue between the leadership of both societies, a mutual recognition of scientific complementarity, and a shared ambition to create a truly landmark event that serves clinicians from Riyadh to Rotterdam, from Nairobi to New York.

What We Believe

SHARED MISSION

Skin health does not stop at borders. And neither should the science that advances it.

Both societies are united by the conviction that dermatology’s most pressing challenges; from the rising burden of inflammatory skin disease to the inequitable access to dermatologic care in low-resource settings — require a global response, grounded in local expertise.

The 17th SSDDS & 8th CCD Congress is built on this belief. It is a congress for every dermatologist who believes that learning together, across cultures and continents, is how we move the science forward.

ABOUT ISD & CCD

The International Society of Dermatology & the 8th CCD Congress

The International Society of Dermatology (ISD) is one of the world’s oldest and most respected dermatology organizations with a global membership spanning more than 100 countries. The ISD is dedicated to promoting education, research, and collaboration in dermatology across international borders; with a particular focus on underserved regions and the global burden of skin disease.

The Congress of Clinical Dermatology (CCD) is the ISD’s flagship international meeting, bringing together clinical dermatologists from around the world to share the latest advances in patient care, diagnostic practice, and treatment innovation. The 8th CCD Congress, held jointly with the 17th SSDDS Conference, marks the first time this global platform comes to the Arabian Peninsula.
