Omar A. Ibrahimi, MD, PhD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He is the Founding and Medical Director of the Connecticut Skin Institute. Dr. Ibrahimi completed his dermatology training at Harvard Medical School and specializes in Mohs surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ibrahimi is a recognized leader in the field, currently serving as the President of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) for the 2026-2027 term. He has also serves on the Board of Directors and for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). He has carried out several pivotal clinical studies and contributed to the development of numerous cosmetic dermatology procedures.
